Stress Relieving Foods:

Did you know the foods you eat can make you feel worse when stressed? Things like caffeine and sugar can pick you up, but the lows can make stress worse.

Here are a list of 6 foods that can help with stress:

1.)    Almonds -
Includes vitamins B2 (riboflavin), vitamin E, magnesium, and Zinc. B2 and magnesium help regulate mood and relieve stress. vitamin E is an antioxidant that destroys the free radicals related to stress and heart disease.

2.)    Fish - Fish like Tuna and Salmon contain vitamins B6 and B12 which help to fight stress.

3.)    Blueberries -
This fruit is rich in antioxidants and the stress fighter vitamin C.

4.)    Milk -
Is high in antioxidants and vitamins B2 and B12 which help to fight stress.

5.)    Beef -
It can help to reduce stress due to being high in B vitamins, iron and zinc. Just watch your portions to avoid the unhealthy saturated fat that comes with it.

6.)    Fortified Cereals - Breakfast cereals that come fortified with vitamins B, C and folic acid are a great option for stress relieving foods. Try to avoid those high in sugar, as this can make stress worse.
